Concert attire:
All black. Long sleeves. Long pants or long skirt/dress.
You may optionally wear a tie or scarf (which need not be black).

Please do not wear any fragrances (e.g., cologne, perfume, scented aftershave).

Saturday, October 5 (day of concert) from 1:30 - 3:30 pm at Elley-Long (with soloists).

Participation, Registration and Music Download

All qualified string players are welcome -- the more the merrier! Winds/brass/percussion: selection will be based on known ability and past participation in GMMF events.

If you would like to participate, follow the link below and fill out the musician registration form. All participants must register. Please download and print your part and bring it with you.

We will be performing all of Act 1 ("I. Aufzug").
Print all of I Aufzug, including Vorspiel und I Scene, II Scene, and III Scene. Stop at the double bar before II Aufzug.

As a bonus, we might also perform the Ride of the Valkyries, which begins Act 3 ("III Aufzug").
Print III Aufzug, I Scene (stop at the double bar before II Scene). We will try the Ride at the first rehearsal before deciding whether to include it in the concert.
